Post-doctoral Fellow in 2D Materials Growth and Devices in the Department of Mechanical Engineering

Applications are invited for appointments as Post-doctoral Fellow in 2D Materials Growth and Devices (several posts) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 530395), to commence as soon as possible for one to three years.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree before July 2025 in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or a related discipline, with a strong research background in 2D materials growth; electrochemistry for metal plating; electronic device fabrication; or wafer bonding technology. Applicants should be highly self-motivated; have a good command of written and spoken English; and be able to work independently. The appointees will work under the supervision of Professor Xiaobo Yin and Dr. Yi Wan.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
