Description:
Directs an ongoing university program to ensure that prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with its mission and/or specified objectives. Prepares short- and long-term goals and objectives.
1. Plans, develops and administers methods, strategies and procedures for meeting program objectives; directs and oversees the daily activities of staff members.
2. Prepares and monitors the annual budget and ensures that expenditures are within budget allocation.
3. Directs and coordinates personally, or through subordinate personnel, activities concerned with carrying out the objectives of the program.
4. Directs the preparation of and reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives; modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attains objectives.
5. Analyzes trends within program areas, maintaining expert awareness of program information and change needs.
6. Formulates, implements, and maintains appropriate policies and procedures concerning program administration.
7. Manages and administers grant for program, including meetings, communication coordination, scholarships and other operations.
8. May prepare or participate in the preparation of proposals to obtain grants from state and federal agencies, and private foundation sponsors.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.

Description:
This position works in the Rockwell Career Center at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, work well under pressure, consistently meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects while remaining flexible and positive. This will require exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Further, successful candidates will effectively communicate with all levels of management and fellow employees and be able to manage multiple employer relationships.
The primary function of this role is an employer-facing one and involves the following specific duties:
1. Responsible for identifying, developing, and managing key local, national, and global employer relationships to increase employer engagement opportunities, build brand awareness, and increase employer internships and full-time opportunities.
2. Manages a portfolio of employers supporting College-wide recruiting and engagement initiatives. Possesses strong experience with sales or business development.
3. Anticipate daily operations of a world-renowned career center, including supervision of staff employees and student workers when needed, and ensure the Director’s needs are met and represented.
4. Prepares and reviews reports of recruiting activities to ensure the progress of the Rockwell Career Center’s (RCC) objectives and goals.
5. Assists in developing and implementing a strategic branding plan for employers, including businesses ranging from sole proprietorships to major corporations. Supports college by implementing employer recruiting strategies related to their annual business plans and recruiting priorities.
6. Works with career center staff, faculty, college-level program staff, and volunteers as appropriate.
7. Work closely with other campus career centers to support employer recruiting initiatives university-wide.
8. Assist employers with their presence and brand on campus; create adequate marketing opportunities to advertise employer events, on-campus recruiting, and postings; and work with employers to develop internships and various experiential opportunities that increase students' professional success.
9. Represent the college with associations and within the community to endorse a growing and ranked business program.
10. May be assigned to manage intra or inter-college recruiting initiatives.
11. Participates in College-wide activities as needed.
Preferences:
• MBA or Masters Degree
• Five or more years of experience in a sales role (relationship management and/or business development), with a university business career center, or in a talent acquisition/recruiting role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate-level knowledge of one or more of the following: Excel
• Project management software (AirTable, Monday, Asana)
• Graphic design software (Canva, Photoshop)
• Email marketing software (MyEmma, Constant Contact, MailChimp)
• Website editing software (uConnect, WordPress, SquareSpace)
• CRM Software (HubSpot, SalesForce)
