Tenure-Track Mathematics Position
The Mathematics Department at Bucknell University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in mathematics to begin August 1, 2025. We expect to hire at the Assistant Professor level. Dedicated teacher-scholars from all areas of mathematics are encouraged to apply. Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, a strong commitment to teaching, and a high potential for research. We seek a colleague who will contribute to the department's focus on inclusivity and its liberal arts mission and we welcome candidates who demonstrate excellence in reflective multicultural and inclusive teaching practices and who display a strong commitment to collaboration and interdisciplinarity.

We ask that you address your interest in working at a primarily undergraduate institution in your cover letter and/or teaching statement. Your teaching letter should include how your experiences, knowledge, skills, and/or past accomplishments will contribute to equitable and inclusive teaching, broadly defined as including classroom instruction, advising, mentoring, and other educational experiences. Any discussion of undergraduate research should appear in the research statement.
