Job Details
Summary: The Simulation Lab Technician is directly responsible for collaborating with the Simulation Lab Manager(s) and Assistant Manager in facilitating clinical skills assessment labs.
Primary Duties:
- Assist in creating and producing set up sheets from Lab Inventory Supply List received from faculty.
- Maintain ongoing communication with faculty to ensure all materials and equipment are available to meet the objectives of each lab.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for labs by keeping inventory management system up to date with routine inventory counting, routine inventory maintenance, and routine check of inventory placement and storage.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and organization before and after simulation events.
- Maintain and organize all lab station teaching materials for the academic programs.
- Communicate with the Standardized Patient Manager and Standardized Patient Assistant Manager to coordinate and set up equipment needs for Standardized Patient events.
- Assist with simulation activities in the lab with low fidelity manikins and task trainers to include lifting and moving the manikins and equipment.
- Responsible for the set-up and reset of labs throughout the academic year.
- Assist in the oversight of Student Lab Assistants on both health campuses.
- Attend simulation team meetings and highlight lab concerns and current event needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree or certification in a health-related field required.
- At least one year of health-related experience.
- Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple tasks, good organizational skills, exhibit flexibility in work schedule and job tasks; develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors, job contacts, and students.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong clinical skills, knowledge of laboratory equipment.
- Excel, Word, and Outlook competence required.
- Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
- Afternoon/Evening hours. Days will be determined based on scheduling needs, some weekend days will be required.

Salary: $31,200 (30 hours per week)
