Description:
The Department of Political Science at the University of Houston invites applications for multiple tenure-track Assistant Professor positions, to begin Fall 2025. We seek applicants whose research and teaching interests focus on Political Theory. Candidates from all areas of Political Theory are invited to apply, though special consideration will be given to candidates with a research interest in the History of Political Theory, American political thought, or Constitutional Theory/Constitutionalism. Successful candidates should have extensive training in the History of Political Theory, demonstrated excellence in scholarly research and publication, and a clear commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. Review of applications will begin November 15 and continue until the position is filled.
