Description:
Manages the administration of cash for the UH System bank accounts and other banking services.
1. Establishes the daily cash position for the UH System bank accounts.
2. Executes payment instructions to meet daily account funding requirements.
3. Oversees verification of previous day banking transactions.
4. Administers bank accounts and serves as liaison with bank administrators.
5. Develops and implements continuous improvement of cash management processes and other banking services for UH System and its component campuses.
6. Provides timely and accurate reporting of cash administration to management.
7. Maintains and tests the treasury business continuity plan.
8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Bachelors and 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
