The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of gastrointestinal cancers. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with gastrointestinal cancers in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service. Enrolling patients onto clinical trials is an important role in this position.
