Syracuse University’s Department of Economics seeks to fill a position in labor economics, with an emphasis on one or more of the following contemporary economic policy issues: the economics of crime, immigration, or race.
The position is at the Assistant Professor level and will build on the Maxwell School and department’s longstanding strength and commitment to labor and policy-related applied microeconomics.
The position is in Syracuse, NY. Qualifications
Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Economics.
Preference will be given to those who have done research in labor economics or law and economics. Job Specific Qualifications Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the position include producing quality scholarly research, publishing in leading academic journals, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in labor economics, and advising doctoral students.
