Description
SIU Simmons Law School is currently seeking adjunct faculty who are interested in teaching Family Law, Pre-Trial Advocacy or other courses in our upper-division program. This is a part-time, non-tenure track, term faculty appointment.
Examples of Duties
Classroom instruction, including possible hybrid and online instruction, and other duties as assigned by the Dean.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
-Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school by date of hire.
-Minimum five years legal practice are required. The minimum years of required practice maybe waived on account of exceptional circumstances, such as outstanding law school performance or an advanced degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior law school teaching or legal training experience and a demonstrated interest in training law students are preferred.
