The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SSBS) in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University (ASU) is seeking a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor to teach in the on-campus undergraduate and graduate psychology programs. The anticipated start date is August 2025. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in organizational science (or related disciplines).
SSBS is presently in a period of expansion and innovation, which includes new graduate and undergraduate programs in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. We are seeking candidates that can contribute to the development of these programs. The successful candidate can expect to teach courses in their area of expertise, along with statistics and/or research methods. Teaching faculty typically teach 12 credits per semester (a 4/4 load), with the possibility of summer teaching. These teaching responsibilities comprise 80% of the workload, whereas service will comprise of the remaining 20%.

Essential Functions of the Position:
- Provide undergraduate and/or graduate level instruction in relevant areas of psychology
- Regularly monitor student progress
- Effectively teach, supervise, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Engage in service activities to support the unit, college, and university
To be considered for an Associate Teaching Professor position, one must have at least five years of relevant teaching experience and have successfully gone through the promotion process at another institution.
