Miami Dade College is now accepting applications for Faculty, Artificial Intelligence (Bachelor's Program)

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
  • Evaluates students and performs career and academic advising
  • Plans and organizes instructional materials to meet course objectives
  • Participates in a variety of Departmental, Campus and College-wide programs, activities and committees and develops curricula
  • Prepares and submits student information to Department Chairperson
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering); or Doctorate or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
  • Flexibility to teach off site with industry partners
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to provide both theoretical and hands on instruction in the classroom
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work well in a multi-ethic and  multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, staff and the community
  • Must be able to function well in a technological environment
  • Start date for this Faculty position is scheduled on or before the Spring Semester 2025
  • Doctoral stipend awarded in addition to base salary, as applicable
