El Paso Community College (EPCC) is a dynamic, innovative multicampus organization with five full-service campuses and more than 30 community-based teaching sites.  The college serves the needs of the largest sunbelt metropolitan community along the U.S./Mexico border, with a population exceeding 825,000.  The College offers a 7-day-a-week class schedule in liberal arts, technical, vocational, and non-traditional educational programs with an enrollment exceeding 28,000 multicultural credit and non-credit students each semester.  The College seeks applicants for the following positions to begin fall semester 2025:

Requirement:  
Master’s degree in the discipline or Master’s degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in the discipline

Nursing

Master's degree in Nursing (Nursing Education track preferred) OR Master's degree in another field, plus a minimum of six (6) graduate credit hours in Nursing AND a Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR a Doctorate in Nursing (DNP or PhD) AND a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and three (3) years of work experience exclusive of teaching, (practice in a nursing clinical setting), and licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas (or eligible for licensure).

                            Rio Grande Border Health Clinic Nurse Practitioner/Nursing Instructor

Master's Degree in Nursing, (Family Nurse Practitioner Program), and three (3) years of work experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a health clinic with demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities in providing patient care, prescribing medications, maintaining a supervisory relationship with the overseeing physician, and supervision of nursing staff and licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Texas (unencumbered) with prescriptive ability and National Certification from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). 

         Dental Hygiene

Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene and three (3) years of work experience exclusive of teaching and current license in Dental Hygiene.                

               Diesel Mechanics Technology                                                                Fashion Technology

Associate's Degree and three (3) years of work-related experience exclusive of teaching.                                      

             

Emergency Medical Services

Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or in related health care field or higher degree in a related health field and three (3) years of work experience exclusive of teaching and Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) Instructor certification or registry, and Certified/licensed in Texas in one of the following: Degreed or Licensed Paramedic, Registered Nurse, or Medical Doctor.

                                                                                   Fire Technology

Associate's Degree in the field and three (3) years of work experience as a fire fighter.

                                                        Information Technology Systems (Data Analytics)

Associate's degree of Applied Science in Information Technology and three (3) years of experience in Data Analytics.

                                                                           Machining Technology

Certificate of Completion and three (3) years of work-related experience exclusive of teaching. 

                                                                  

                                                                     Occupational Therapist Assistant

Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT), (or in a related field for a program and/ or field coordinator position) with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) and current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)), or Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) in Texas, must meet standards in accordance with The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®)  for OTA educational program, and a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in occupational therapy.                                                 

                                                                                Physical Therapist Assistant

Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant and three (3) years of clinical experience exclusive of teaching, and licensed in Texas by the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.                                                               

                                                                      Respiratory Care Technology

Bachelor’s degree in any field and three (3) years of work-related experience exclusive of teaching and must possess at least one of the following Certifications: RRT (Registered Respiratory Technologist) or RCP-TMB (Respiratory Care Practitioner - Texas Medical Board).

                                                                           Sign Language Interpreter

Associate's degree in Sign Language Interpreting or related field and three (3) years of directly related work experience exclusive of teaching, in interpreting or deaf services provision.

                                                              

                                                                             Surgical Technology

Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or Nursing and three (3) years of work related experience exclusive of teaching and Registered Nurse with a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), or a Surgical Technologist with a Certified Surgical Technology certificate.
