The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice seeks highly qualified candidates to fill course instruction needs. This opportunity to teach one or more courses is available on an as-needed basis. Courses may be offered in fall and spring semesters and are generally offered in person on the main campus in Clemson, SC. The start date varies according to departmental teaching needs. The areas of content expertise required by the department include topics in: Sociology, Anthropology, or Criminal Justice.

Clemson University is a Carnegie Research 1 (R-1) public land-grant institution with over 20,000 undergraduates and 5,500 graduate students, located near the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice is a member of the College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences and is home to 35 faculty members across the three represented disciplines.


Qualifications
Applicants must have a master's degree in sociology, anthropology, or criminal justice or a closely related field with a Ph.D. preferred.

Part-time visiting lecturer positions will be filled prior to the start of each term.
