Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit:
The Coordinator for Student Community Engagement, Technology & Community Partnerships focus, is responsible for leveraging digital platforms and other technology to support the development of community partnerships and the promotion of community engagement efforts on campus. This position will be responsible for assisting with assessment projects and all tracking/reporting of community engagement efforts. This role will also help supervise a team of undergraduate students who serve as liaisons to on-and off-campus partners and will assist in the planning and implementation of all student community engagement programs. This position is integral to consistently offering high quality, high impact community engagement opportunities for UNCW students.
This position will facilitate volunteer projects in the community. Some evening and weekend hours will be required.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with minimum of one year of relevant experience in a higher education or community setting, which may include a graduate assistantship.
- Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, or related field.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working and communicating effectively with diverse populations.
- Experience working with a team on collaborative projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of how to utilize research informed practices to appropriately work with underserved populations.
- Experience working with student engagement platforms, such as Engage and GivePulse, or a similar technology.
- Experience working with non-profit community agencies.
- Knowledge of student development concepts and theories.
- Experience promoting and recruiting participants for events/initiatives.
Required Certifications or licensure:
Valid driver's license.
FTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
