Baylor University is seeking an Assistant Dean for Enrollment & Student Success to support the mission and vision of the University within the School of Music. The Assistant Dean for Enrollment & Student Success is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of new student recruitment, student enrollment and retention, including developing strategies for impactful outreach and marketing to prospective students. Reporting to the Dean, the Assistant Dean provides input and updates to ensure timely implementation of enrollment programs. The Assistant Dean provides expertise and skills to create, develop, and implement initiatives necessary to achieve overall recruitment, enrollment and retention goals.

A Master’s Degree and five years of experience is required. A Doctoral Degree and seven years of experience is preferred.
Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Works with the Dean to develop a strategic long-range plan and interim goals for the office Directs and manages department staff to work towards achievement of institutional and department enrollment and retention goals Oversees the planning of recruiting efforts designed to encourage prospective student interest in the School of Music Interacts effectively with faculty and staff to encourage and coordinate their involvement in programs to promote the enrollment of students Reviews applications and credentials of applicants to coordinate admission and scholarship decisions Coordinate with other offices on campus such as Admissions and Financial Aid to ensure the success of the school's recruiting efforts Conducts fiscal management with focus on building a budget that details the allocation of funds necessary to build and utilize the annual budget of the recruiting and student programs area Assigns and oversees department staff and work study students to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner Maintains reports that generate data on point-of-contact activities and application generation up and through new student enrollment Maintains reports and conducts data analysis to evaluate effectiveness of enrollment projects Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission. Ability to comply with University policies. Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
