Description
The Department of English at Clemson University invites applications for Lecturer appointments to support the teaching of general education literature classes.

Please note: This advertisement is not for a specific role but for various temporary faculty opportunities within Clemson University's Department of English as they become available.

Lecturers in the English Department are responsible for teaching a 4/4 course load. The 9-month salary is $50,000. These are annual renewable positions with benefits packages. Additionally, there are summer teaching opportunities. Possible start dates include January 1, 2025, and August 15, 2025.

Qualifications
Candidates should have an MA or a PhD in English or a related field and a strong commitment to teaching general education courses in American, African American, British, World, and Contemporary Literature. A background in teaching undergraduates is required.
