The Department of Chronic Disease Epidemiology in the School of Public Health at Yale University is seeking applicants at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Educator-Scholar Track with a strong record of teaching and research scholarship in epidemiology. The position involves a strong emphasis on teaching basic and advanced epidemiology methods to M.P.H., M.S., and Ph.D. students. The selected candidate must be an exemplary teacher and will be expected to teach several courses, in addition to being involved in an externally funded research program.
Successful candidates can take advantage of a number of resources/opportunities which include research centers in a variety of content areas including: cancer, cardiovascular disease, aging, perinatal epidemiology, global health, and outcomes research. Opportunities exist to collaborate with investigators in the Yale School of Public Health, Yale School of Medicine, Yale School of Nursing, Yale School of Management, and across the Yale Campus.
