The Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank to expand our research and teaching in international trade economics. The School has a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply, including women, minorities, veterans, and persons with disabilities.
We seek applicants with research interests that have synergistic potential with faculty in the School of Economics and will be expected to teach macroeconomics and international trade at the undergraduate level. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
Job duties will include research, teaching and advising students, and service activities at Georgia Tech.
Applicants should submit: 1) a cover letter; 2) a curriculum vitae; 3) three reference letters.
Applicants are encouraged to apply by December 1, 2024, for optimal consideration; however, the search will continue until the position is filled. Please email reference letters and additional questions to Whitney Hamlet, whitney.hamlet@gatech.edu.
An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment, and a background check must be completed prior to employment.
