About this Opportunity
The Department of Computer Science is seeking to hire a non-tenure line full time professor to enhance the educational experience of our students. Our department is adding faculty to support rapid growth in both undergraduate and graduate enrollment. Our undergraduate computer science major has five concentrations: Cybersecurity and Secure Software Design, Web & Mobile App Development, Game Design and Development, Data Analytics & Machine Learning, and General Computer Science. Our online Masters of Computer Science program meets the needs of adult learners who seek to enhance their understanding of computer science or are interested in expanding their career options into a new area.
The successful candidate for this position will contribute to the educational growth of our students in one of these areas. Applications are especially welcome in the areas of cybersecurity, secure software design, and web development, as well as advanced specialty topics in all concentration areas.

Description
The Computer Science Department is seeking a full-time non-tenure line faculty candidate who is able to teach students from diverse backgrounds in the undergraduate Computer Science major. The primary teaching assignments will be during the academic year in the on-campus Computer Science undergraduate program and in the online Computer Science graduate courses. A specialty in one of our 5 concentrations is welcome, but not required. (The 5 concentrations are: Cybersecurity & Secure Software Design, Data Analytics & Machine Learning, Web & Mobile App Development, Game Design & Development, and General Computer Science.) This position is focused on primarily teaching undergraduates and does NOT include a requirement to perform research.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, data analytics, or related field from an accredited university by date of appointment; effective written and oral communication skills; evidence of potential for excellence in pedagogical innovation.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching computer science at the university level is preferred, but not required
