We seek a faculty member committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching with the ability to teach introductory as well as major-specific and graduate courses. Successful candidates will demonstrate a capacity for developing pedagogies which support students of all backgrounds.
Candidates who can illustrate evidence of successful teaching and potential to cultivate innovate scholarship while maintaining an active research program are also desired.
Experience in other academic areas such as Environmental Humanities or Digital Humanities is also welcomed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position. Teaching load is 3/3, provided faculty produce at least 2 peer-reviewed publications (or equivalent) every 3 years. Service expectations include advising students, participating in committee work, and other related service activities.
Faculty member’s must be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching with the ability to teach introductory as well as major-specific and graduate courses.
