Position Profile
The CCSU Travelers EDGE Scholarship Program Manager/Deep Learning Coach will manage all administrative and programmatic elements for the externally funded CCSU Travelers EDGE Scholars Program. The successful incumbent’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: giving Scholar’s consistent guidance and instruction in managing their collegiate and experiential learning in this unique role of Deep Learning Coach and Program Manager; providing administrative and strategic leadership in all aspects of the CCSU Travelers EDGE Scholars Program, including coordination, staffing, budgeting, evaluating, and reporting to multiple constituencies at CCSU and Travelers: Serving as the primary liaison among CCSU Travelers EDGE leadership, Travelers staff, and Travelers EDGE Partner institutions, including CT State Community College – Capital, the University of Connecticut, and other partner out of state institutions, as well as partner high schools and designated staff in the Travelers EDGE Ecosystem; will have Principal oversight for individuals performing specialized learner support (academic coaches) and working collaboratively by conducting workshops and undertaking projects for this program.
Overseeing Travelers EDGE Scholars’ recruitment, selection, and retention from all entry points, including designated high school partners/community partners, rising CCSU sophomores, and transfer students and Works collaboratively and effectively with CCSU and Travelers to ensure the budget and grant that support the program is accurate and adhering to grant deadlines; complying with requests for information on program operations with data and information that is accurate and timely.
Occasional evening, weekends and travel will be required in support of program events and activities.

Education:
All applicants must possess a master’s degree in related Management and Organizational Behavior disciplines, Student Development in Higher Education.
Experience:
Five (5) years of professional experience with advanced managerial, instructional, and research acumen. Credentials and/or experience comparable to the above may also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders to support student and program goals.
- Demonstrated ability to develop inclusive programming that addresses barriers to access and success for diverse populations.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or advising students from diverse backgrounds to support their academic and social-emotional development.
- Demonstrated record in managing financial reporting and tracking expenditures for program initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in grant management, including compliance with reporting requirements and tracking measurable outcomes related to grant objectives.

Compensation and Employee Benefits
The CCSU Travelers EDGE Scholarship Program Manager/Deep Learning Coach is compensated at Administrator V salary rank in accordance with the State University Organization of Administrative Faculty (SUOAF) Collective Bargaining Union Agreement.
