Job Details
Detail-oriented, organized and skilled individual needed to perform data management and data analysis for a medical cannabis patient registry study. The Data Analyst will provide support to Dr. Stephen Lankenau in the Community Health & Prevention Department.
As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Data Analyst will be responsible for the data management of a patient registry study of medical cannabis patients: contributing to instrument design; managing project datasets; conducting data cleaning and data analysis; dissemination of results.
Essential Functions
- Assist with design of quantitative tools.
- Manage inflow of quantitative data (i.e., data sets merge, data cleaning).
- Analyze quantitative data using probability & inferential statistics.
- Document project activities for interim and final reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A master's degree in Public Health (or a related field) or the
equivalent combination of education and work experience is
required.

- 2-3 years of related experience is required.
- Coursework in advanced biostatistics and applied knowledge of
SAS or SPSS are required.
- Experience with longitudinal data analysis is a plus.

This position is classified as exempt, grade K. Compensation for this grade ranges from minimum $54,630.00 to maximum $81,940.00 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade,but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
