Director of Undergraduate Admissions
As part of a reorganization in the Division of Enrollment Management, Indiana State University is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Director of Undergraduate Admissions (DUA), who will lead our Undergraduate student recruitment efforts, focusing on first-time, first-year and transfer students. In this pivotal role the DUA will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the UG admissions process, from initial prospect engagement to enrollment. The Director will play a central role in shaping and executing policies and strategies that align with the University's enrollment management goals. The DUA will report directly to the Vice President for Enrollment Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the undergraduate student recruitment process, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to enrolled student.
- Design, develop, and implement policies and strategies to support the University's enrollment objectives, focusing particularly on first-time, first-year and transfer students.
- Oversee a comprehensive, data-informed recruitment and admissions process to attract qualified and talented freshmen and transfer students.
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Management leadership team to align recruitment efforts with broader institutional goals.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize recruitment strategies.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any related field and 5-6 years in experience. Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license.
