Position Summary

  • The Marketing & Communications Coordinator for the Career & Life Design Center is responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that amplifies the Center’s mission and student success stories.
  • This role involves creating compelling content, managing the Center’s social media presence, and coordinating digital and print marketing efforts to engage students, alumni, and campus partners.
  • The coordinator will develop and implement targeted email campaigns, oversee website content updates, and design visual materials that reflect the Center’s brand identity.
  • Additionally, the role requires analyzing communication metrics to optimize strategies and ensure impactful storytelling across all channels.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in program coordination, operations, marketing, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data management, including experience with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including social media management, email campaigns, and content creation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools.
  • Knowledge of systems like Handshake, PeopleGrove, and/or uConnect.

Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights for program improvement.
