IM4Q Monitor/Field Interviewer
The Independent Monitoring for Quality Program (IM4Q) at Chatham University welcomes applications for the position of a Monitor/Field Interviewer. This part-time hybrid position is largely remote with minimal in-person/on-site reporting requirement and is ideal for a person with a flexible schedule and can commit 12-18 hours/week in 3-5 hour blocks.
The IM4Q program is a service through the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) to improve the lives of individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD).
As a monitor/field interviewer, you will be directly involved in interviewing/monitoring for the satisfaction and everyday life outcomes of persons with IDD who reside in Allegheny, Beaver, Greene and/or Washington counties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare for IM4Q interviews by reviewing pre-survey/demographic information and requisite interview materials.
- Conduct high-quality interviews using standardized format and procedures.
- Document the interviews with accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively in oral and written formats.
- Demonstrate respect, empathy, and cultural humility in all interactions with consumers, caregivers, staff, and relevant parties.
- Adhere to IM4Q and University standards for safety and confidentiality.
- High school degree, two-years of equivalent post-secondary education preferred.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) & Zoom, Dropbox, and web-based applications.
- Reliable access to the internet and personal computing/mobile device.
- Experience managing correspondences, schedules, and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of emotional-social intelligence especially in integrating social cues and regulating one's emotional responses.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent listening and observation skills.
- Teamwork and adaptability in interacting/working with staff, consumers, caregivers, students, and partners.
- Respect for diversity of background, identity, and perspectives.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality to handle sensitive matters using discretion, diplomacy, and judgment.
This position will be filled at the hourly rate of $14.00. 12-18 hours a week.
