Job Summary
The field placement coordinator processes candidate applications for field experiences in the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS), maintains the field placement database, and assists candidates with Foliotek. This role sends placement requests to appropriate personnel, notifies candidates of their placement, and communicates/coordinates directly with placement sites. The coordinator maintains an accurate list of students accepted into each COEHS program along with placement requests. This position works closely with the coordinator, field and clinical experiences.

Job Responsibilities and Execution
- Processes applications and coordinates with sites for school counseling, clinical mental health counseling, school administration, and behavior analysis field placements
- Notifies candidates of placement site details
- Maintains database of daily field hours, entering daily
- Runs Foliotek reports for evaluation and dispositions
- Maintains testing databases and scores for comprehensive exams
- Distributes bi-weekly placement activity reports to faculty
- Maintains all memorandum of understanding (MOU) agreements with area schools and a contact list of school personnel
- Assists with data collection and data reports for state and accreditation documents
- Shares front facing office duties, addressing phone, virtual, and in-person student inquiries
- Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
- Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University’s values
- Supports the mission of the COEHS and serves as a positive representative for all programs
- Responds to the needs of students, colleagues, and community members in a timely and courteous manner
- Engages collaboratively with colleagues and students
- Resolves student issues with the appropriate assistant dean, faculty, and/or advisors, as necessary
- Plans and organizes tasks daily to ensure timely completion of responsibilities
Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong professional integrity
- Ability to problem solve, employ sound judgement, and think critically
- Ability to learn and apply institutional policies and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to use repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements to type regularly.
