Job Summary/Basic Function
Responsible for the operational oversight of the information systems and related business processes of the College of Graduate Studies (CGS). Manage data reporting, manage admissions application and application committee review systems, program and test degree audit system, maintain and perform analyses of CGS metrics, and coordinate other technology resources as needed for CGS. Develop user training for CGS technology systems and maintain business process documentation. Serve as liaison between IT technical staff and CGS end users. Review initial curriculum and admission proposals for graduate programs, ensuring accuracy in program information, compliance with academic policies, and consistency in formatting, while collaborating with faculty and staff to verify updates and providing timely feedback on catalog proofs. Perform other related tasks or special projects as assigned.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree plus four years experience (see required experience); associate degree plus six years experience (see required experience); or master's degree with no experience.
Required Related Experience
With bachelor's degree, four years of progressively responsible, full-time work experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, technical application support, data analyst, or equivalent required. With associate degree, six years of progressively responsible, full time work experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, technical application support, data analyst, or equivalent required. No experience required with master's degree.
Desirable Related Experience
A strong background working in higher education is also preferred but not required.
