Assistant Professor of Economics (Two Positions) / Fall 2025

George Mason University, Korea (Mason Korea) invites applications for two full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor positions in Economics, beginning Fall 2025 (August).

Positions Available:

• Macroeconomics: One position with a specialization in macroeconomics.
• General Economics: One position open to any field of specialization within economics.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Economics (advanced ABD candidates will be considered).
• Demonstrated experience teaching economics, preferably at the undergraduate level.
• Experience and enthusiasm for teaching a diverse international student population.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience as primary instructors for undergraduate courses, particularly in microeconomic theory, macroeconomics, financial economics, or international economics.

About the Position

This is a full-time, non-tenure track position. Responsibilities:

• Applicants must have a Ph.D. in economics.
• Applicants must be prepared to teach macroeconomics and upper level electives (including international economic policy)
• Competitive candidates will have demonstrated excellence in teaching and research.
• Experience and enthusiasm for teaching an international student population is a plus.
