Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
The Massey College of Business at Belmont University is seeking applications for a non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer beginning August 1, 2025.
- Twenty-four hours of in-person undergraduate teaching per year (typically four three-hour courses each semester).
- Teaching load will primarily be in Principles of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics.
- Required Education: Master's with 18 hours of graduate level economics courses.
- Higher education teaching experience preferred.
- Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to and preparation for excellence in teaching economics and related areas to undergraduates.
- Create a syllabus and timeline of classes for students each semester.
- Provide meeting times for students.
- Manage online learning management system and submit grades in a timely fashion.
- Abide by all relevant university and/or department procedures and policies.

Required Experience Higher education teaching experience preferred.
