The Center for Evaluation and Research Services improves the educational and developmental experiences of students, teachers and other program clients by providing program evaluation and research services to local, state, national and international agencies and educational institutions.
Established in 2014, the Center currently conducts evaluation activities with multiple funded activities at Georgia State University and with school systems and nonprofit organizations located in counties throughout the state. The Center provides evaluation services in accordance with the need of its client, including advanced quantitative analysis and multiple qualitative approaches.
The Center for Evaluation and Research Services and the PROPEL Project team are seeking to hire a Business Manager I. This is a Sponsor Funded Administrative position.

This position will provide administrative support to the Center for Evaluation and Research Services and sponsored projects housed in the Dean’s office at Georgia State University.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Collaborate with the Director and PI monitoring funding sources and assisting in the preparation of annual reports.
- Process travel authorizations, requests and travel expense reports for project faculty, staff, and students.
- Communicate with partners regarding budgets requests for subcontracts and processes including invoicing and travel.
- Assist in planning and coordinating meetings, events, conferences and workshops based on the schedule of the Center and the project.
- Assist with implementing communication plan via website, social media, and sponsor supported platforms.
- Maintain project records for student faculty and staff, including HR functions.
***This is a regular, full-time position which involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and two years of administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
