The Department of Kinesiology at DePauw University invites applications for a part-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor for the Spring Term of the 2024-25 academic year. Ph.D. (completed by January 2025) in Kinesiology is preferred; ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor. A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. The department specifically seeks candidates to teach courses in Biomechanics (without a lab) and/or Sport and Exercise Psychology. The teaching assignment would include one or two courses in the Spring 2025 term depending on the candidate’s expertise and availability. Funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
