Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of English at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#136340) in Early American Literature at the rank of assistant professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2025.
Required Education
A terminal degree in English or a closely related field is required by the appointment date.
Other Desirables
Applicants with secondary areas of teaching and research interest in women’s and gender studies, distance education, or African American literature will receive special consideration.
