In partnership with Northeastern University, Takeda Pharmaceuticals is offering a two-year Marketed Products Development PharmD fellowship based in Cambridge, MA.

Takeda Marketed Products Development (MPD) is a part of Global Medical within the Global Portfolio Division. MPD fulfills Takeda's commitment to patients for the life of our marketed products. MPD is responsible to fulfill marketing authorization holder obligations, by conducting scientific, clinical, regulatory, and safety activities to ensure a continued positive benefit/risk profile of all products in the MPD portfolio. MPD comprises of the following key functions: Clinical Science, Global Program Management, Center for Post Approval Safety Studies, and the Patient Crisis Management Office. The MPD fellow will gain real-world experience working with cross-functional global teams and will gain skills in working with a Global Program Team on developing and executing product strategy including post-marketing clinical development, global regulatory post marketing safety requirements and commitments, and lifecycle management. The MPD Fellow will also gain an understanding of how Takeda manages a patient crisis.
The two-year Takeda MPD Fellowship Program will prepare post-doctoral scholars for rewarding careers in the biopharmaceutical industry. The MPD fellow will complete rotations in the Center for Post Approval Safety Studies, Clinical Science, Global Program Management, leading projects, and initiatives. In the second year, the fellow will also have the option to select a rotation of choice in area of interest within Global Medical to expand their industry knowledge.
Throughout both years of the fellowship program, a mentor will be assigned to provide guidance as the fellow gain hands-on experience and learn how to apply their skills to a future career in the biopharmaceutical industry.
The fellow will primarily work at Takeda's office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Northeastern University responsibilities will be carried out on the Northeastern Boston campus.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution, eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Massachusetts.
Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and leadership skills, ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at the industry site and Northeastern.
