Director, Clinic Operations (College of Medicine) - (STA008051)



Under the supervision of Executive Director of Business Operations, directs all operational, business, and financial services for multiple Clinical services. Directs, administers, and controls the day-to-day activities of the clinical operations. Ensures efficient and economical performance in accordance with clinic operating budgets, goals and objectives. -Oversees the administrative and financial functions for the Clinics.Job Duties

  1. Oversees administration of multiple clinic business office; responsible for patient customer-service and confidentiality of patient records.
  2. Responsible for daily operations of clinics/services which includes training and the scheduling of and delivery of clinic services. Attends faculty and staff meetings.
  3. Supervises business office staff; oversees administration of human resource and payroll functions for the clinic.
  4. Directs registration, patient insurance, billing, collections, and data processing.
  5. Develops and implements procedures to improve work processes, and ensures policies are communicated and administered consistently.
  6. Participates in the annual planning process; assists administration with development of long-range business strategies.
  7. Develops, monitors, and disseminates cost accounting information. Oversees accounts receivable processes and solves difficult account problems with vendors.
  8. In coordination with the Executive Director, coordinates the communication of clinic information to appropriate agencies; produces monthly status reports.
  9. Assists the Medical Director in enhancing the quality of both the clinic's service delivery and training functions.
  10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Bachelors and 7 years experience

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related master's degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience.

***Education in lieu of experience and experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Additional Posting Information

Masters in healthcare related field preferred.

Relevant clinic managment experience required.
