Responsible for administering all aspects of the University of Houston/Dalian Maritime University (UH/DMU) Extension Program.

1. Works with the Director and academic departments to prepare needs and budgets for instruction ensuring that courses can be delivered to DMU.
2. Ensures adequate instructional resources, including but not limited to collaborating with UH and DMU teams to arrange teaching schedules, organizing teaching assistants for appropriate program courses and partnering with department chairs and business staff to hire appropriate instructional faculty as needed.
3. Interfaces with DMU staff to ensure ABET compliance, maintains ABET information, course evaluations, and other records of teaching.
4. Identifies initiatives, sets goals and develops implementation plans with UH and DMU teams.
5. Organizes and administers events for DMU students.
6. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Requires application of advanced principles, techniques and theory in a professional discipline or a thorough general business management knowledge. Knowledge of this level is typically obtained through a directly job-related Master’s degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work performed

Requires in-depth knowledge of principles and practices within a specific area of a professional field. Work is substantially complex and varied, and requires the interpretation of technical and details guidelines, policies and procedures in combination.

Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related professional experience.
