The On-Campus Student Recruiter assists in the effective recruitment of future “Champions for Christ” through our Visitors Center. This part-time student worker is pivotal to the success of Liberty University’s recruitment efforts and will be asked to lead campus tours while assisting with on-campus recruitment events. The On-Campus Student Recruiter will be a positive representation of Liberty’s student body, and offer a positive first impression, or “handshake” of the university.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Schedule and conduct campus tours (in-person or virtual).
  • Open & Close Hancock Welcome Center facility.
  • Schedule Academic Appointments on behalf of prospective students.
  • Completing projects and other assigned tasks such as but not limited to:
    • Vehicle cleaning
    • Cleaning Model Dorm Rooms
    • Maintaining Hospitality Kitchen
  • Support Recruitment events such as ExperienceLU, and DecideLU, and College for a Weekend

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
  • Outgoing, Christ-like personality.
  • Must be a current student.
  • Have been a currently student for at least one semester.
  • Familiarity with academic programs and campus life.
  • Have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Professional level in oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
  • Available to work weekends and academic breaks.
