Description

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenured positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, thought sometimes there is a departmental need for an annual appointment. Positions are renewable annually, contingent upon budgetary funding and performance.

Qualifications

An M.A. is required; Ph.D. is preferred. Native or near-native command of Spanish, teaching experience at the university level and excellent teacing credentials are required.
