SALARY:

$20.00-$22.75+ per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU’s compensation plan. RVU’s full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director of Tracks and Electives with administrative needs and coordination.
  • Assist faculty and course directors with their planning and execution of curricular activities including labs and lectures, this may include curricular content creation and support such as PowerPoint, edits, etc.
  • Assist the director in developing, promoting, and coordinating community based educational opportunities and events for tracks students by interfacing with leaders in the community.
  • Assist in the creation of course modules and materials for track and elective sessions.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and arrange for payment of guest lecturers.
  • Assist faculty in organizing work-related travel and reimbursement requests related to activities within tracks and electives.
  • Serve as the support staff and record keeper to assigned committees including scheduling, attending, and taking minutes.
  • Provide individualized student support.
  • Performs general office support duties including maintaining electronic and paper files, answering phones, completing reports, creating correspondence, proofreading, maintaining office equipment, and overall departmental organization.
  • Work with Center of Testing to Develop Testing Rubrics.
  • Assist Department of Preclinical Education with Systems courses as needed.
  • Help build a culture that respects, values, and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Tracks and Electives or their designee.
