Job Description
Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law seeks a dynamic individual to coordinate activities primarily for the Civil Litigation Clinic and to provide assistance to all other College of Law Clinical Programs. Provides assistance to the Civil Litigation Clinic for day-to-day operations including student recruitment, student enrollment, budgeting, class materials, case management, and communication with clients. This position also coordinates activities at other College of Law Clinics including, recruitment/registration, organization of recruitment events, logistics of applications/enrollments, web site information updates, student practice certifications, clinical fellowship recruitment/administration, administration of clinical program conflict check system, and assistance with general clinic administration. The program coordinator will report to the Faculty Director, Civil Litigation Clinic.
Salary Range
$51,000 - $56,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties
- Provide assistance to the Civil Litigation Clinic for day-to-day operations including student recruitment, student enrollment, budget, class materials, case management and Rule 39 certifications, and communication with clients.
- Conduct initial conflict checks on cases and create physical client files for the Civil Litigation Clinic.
- Answer the Civil Litigation Clinic's phones, provide referrals, general program information, and maintain proper communication between clients and case workers.
- Monitor student hours, number of cases served, and any other statistical data needed for reporting purposes in the Civil Litigation Clinic.
- Assist Clinic Director with scheduling, travel, and completing pending civil litigation cases during school breaks.
- Assist law students with civil litigation cases including, program training, file management, logistics of case management, and monitoring case submissions.
- Management of student recruitment and registration for clinical programs.
- Management of clinical fellowship recruitment and administration.
- Management and administration of clinical program conflict check system.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence.
- Monitor the status of legal matters and communicating regarding deadlines and tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the department and clinical programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Six years of progressively responsible administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

- Experience working in a law firm environment as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- Experience coordinating program activities and assisting in their execution.
- Evidence of effective communication skills
- Experience in Clio case management software
- Experience with Turbo Court
- Proficient filing documents in state and federal courts
- Knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles.
- Skill in organizing work of self and others.
- Experience working in a law firm environment.
- Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Knowledge of client databases and their application.
- Experience working in a leanly staffed, fast-paced office environment with multiple demands on one's time.
- Experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds.
Working Environment
- Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse.
- Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work.
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.
- Regular activities require the ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions.
- Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals.
