Appalachian Medical Reserve Corps Program Manager

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management, public health, or a related area.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.





License/Certification Required


Essential Job Functions
  • Oversee the comprehensive management and operation of the Appalachian MRC unit and its satellite units.
  • Ensure efficient volunteer recruitment, retention, and training.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation.
  • Analyze data and prepare regular reports to track progress and outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance within a team environment.





Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in public health, health administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Medical Reserve Corps or similar volunteer organizations.
  • Knowledge of ASPR requirements and MRC Program Plan.
  • Experience with community engagement and stakeholder relationship management.






Work Schedule/Hours: 20 hours per week.
