Overview of Positions

We seek distinguished scholars and leaders with a demonstrated commitment to free-market economics and a passion for teaching, research, and thought leadership in alignment with Northwood’s beliefs and values. The successful candidates will hold an endowed position and contribute to Northwood University's academic excellence through teaching, research, public outreach, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the area of expertise.
  • Engage in high-impact research that contributes to the understanding and advancement of the respective discipline.
  • Shape the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs as a mentor and advisor.
  • Provide thought-leadership and engage in public speaking engagements, conferences, and outreach initiatives.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and industry leaders to enhance the university's mission and reputation as a thought leader.

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. or terminal degree in a relevant field.
  • A distinguished record of scholarly achievement, teaching excellence, and research.
  • Demonstrated commitment to The Northwood Idea and the values of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and meritocracy.
  • Proven ability to engage with students, colleagues, alumni, donors and external stakeholders in meaningful ways that promote business innovation and societal impact.
  • Experience building industry partnerships and contributing to academic and public discourse on free-market principles.
