Assistant Professor of Nursing
The William Preston School of Nursing is seeking applications for a full-time tenure track assistant professor position beginning Spring 2025. The School of Nursing at Lander University offers a family friendly atmosphere with flexible work hours.
Minimum requirements:
- Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
- Board certification with current practice experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in clinical practice and teaching in an Advanced Practice Nursing and/or Prelicensure BSN Nursing program.
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving history are required. BLS certification required. Responsibilities: The School of Nursing is seeking creative, engaging, and innovative faculty to provide the following:
Effective classroom and clinical instruction. Student recruitment and advising. Participation in curriculum development and program evaluation. Demonstrated evidence of research/creative/professional activities or the potential to design and complete research/creative/professional activity, including course development. Service to the institution through School of Nursing and University committees. Participation in School of Nursing and University programs and activities. Professional and community service
