Description

The School of Public Policy (https://spp.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for an open-rank tenured or tenure-track faculty position with a focus on American political and policy processes. Topics of research and teaching expertise should include the development, adoption, and implementation of public policies and related politics at the national, state, and/or local level. We are especially interested in candidates whose research relates to the School’s strengths in science and technology policy, health policy, energy and environment policy, ethics, social and urban policy, and cyber/cybersecurity policy. Candidates are also expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duties will include research, teaching and advising students, and service activities at Georgia Tech.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment.
