Description
UCM's Dual Credit Program is fully accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Programs (NACEP) and is an approved provider by the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (MDHEWD).
Applicants needing discipline-specific credits could join UCM's Pathway to Completion Program which provides a conditional approval and the opportunity to earn up-to 18 graduate hours at the highly-discounted tuition rate of $99.50 per credit hour. This program is set to expire on September 1st, 2025 so apply soon.

Position Duties:
- Collaborate with UCM dual credit liaisons and department chairs in the design and delivery of dual credit courses.
- Meet with UCM dual credit liaisons and accommodate for visit/classroom observations.
- Provide syllabi, assignments, evaluations, and samples of student work to the dual credit liaisons, or dual credit program, to ensure courses are equivalent.
- Adopt textbooks used in UCM courses or a textbook approved by the department liaison.
- Verify dual credit program eligibility for all students who intend to complete a course for both high school and college credit.
- Verify the class rosters.
- Submit grades to UCM in a timely manner.
Education/Experience:
- Masters Degree - Employee must possess an academic degree relevant to what they are teaching and at least one level above the level at which they teach
- Faculty teaching general education courses, or other non-occupational courses, hold a master's degree or higher in the discipline or subfield. If a faculty member holds a master's degree or higher in a discipline or subfield other than that in which they teach, that faculty member should have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline or subfield in which they teach.
- If an individual has not achieved 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline in which he or she teaches, the institution should be able to explain and justify its decision to assign the individual to the courses taught. These decisions will be supported by the policy and procedure of UCM.
- Assumed Practice allows an institution to determine that a faculty member is qualified based on experience that the institution determines is equivalent to the degree it would otherwise require for a faculty position.
