Job Description
This position includes basic food preparation (ie. building sandwiches/pizza, etc.) service (plating food), and/or sanitation tasks. Prepare food according to instructions. Follow proper food handling techniques. Assist in completing the Serving Line Worksheets. Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area. Set up service/preparation areas as assigned. Provide high-quality service to customers; assist in meeting the department’s customer service objectives. Direct, help train, and assist student employees in food preparation and service. Clean and replenish the service/preparation areas, dining room, and dishwashing/pot-and-pan areas during and after service. Complete required training. Help the department constantly improve and reach its vision. Perform other duties as assigned.

Sunday - Thursday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Minimum Qualifications
A job offer for this position is contingent on passing a physical examination to determine if the candidate possesses the physical capabilities necessary to perform the essential functions.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to handle and lift heavy kitchen utensils and supplies (e.g. 40 pounds)
• Good physical health.
• Some knowledge of and experience in basic food preparation, service, and/or sanitation methods and a desire to provide high-quality customer service are strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $14.25 - $16.32
