Minimum Education/Training/Experience
Minimum of forty-five (45) college credit hours. However, twenty-three (23) of the required forty-five (45) credit hours may be substituted with one and one-half (1-1/2) years directly related work experience.
Two to four years of cash handling and two to four years of direct customer service experience.
Preferred Education/Training/Experience
Associate degree in business related field. Cashiering at a community college or institution of higher education. Cashiering with a large automated system.
Minimum Knowledge & Skills
· Business arithmetic.
· Basic practices of reviewing financial documents for completeness and accuracy.
· Basic office practices and procedures; basic record keeping practices.
· Basic computer applications related to the work.
· Making accurate arithmetic calculations.
· Performing detailed office support work; maintaining accurate records of work performed.
· Operating standard office equipment; reading and explaining rules, policies and procedures.
· Reviewing financial documents for completeness and accuracy.
· Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Job Duties
1. Receive and post payment transactions; balance receipts and reports
2. Verify funds to be deposited and apply to appropriate accounts; prepare reports.
3. Process transmittals from all college areas.
4. Performs a variety of basic office support duties such as scanning, saving electronic documents, collating materials, distributing incoming mail, preparing materials for mailing, completing forms, proofreading typed or printed materials, and/or typing correspondence, reports, and other materials.
5. Uses a computer to verify information and may make simple updates.
6. Work with Accounts Receivable staff to ensure proper payment plan processing.
7. Interact with students, as well as representatives from the Bank Mobile company to ensure proper processing of Bank Mobile students accounts including issuing personal identification ( PIN ) codes, ordering refund cards, and verifying student addresses.
8. Interact with students and employees to ensure effective and efficient customer service.
9. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

· Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
