This is a non-tenure track, 3 year renewable position, requiring summer work each year teaching a practicum section and supervising clinical services for additional compensation. PSCC is the in-house training clinic for the PsyD in Counseling Psychology program and the M.S. in Counseling program and serves as an outpatient mental healthcare center for the community. The Director directs and oversees clinic operations and helps plan, develop, and maintain a comprehensive psychological services center whose services are available on a sliding scale for the community. The person in this role is responsible for ensuring that the PSCC operates and practices in a manner conforming to the professional standards and ethics of the American Psychological Association and any other accrediting bodies and complies with all TN state and federal laws governing the delivery of health and mental health services, as well as ensure that all psychological services delivered to the public occur under the supervision of a licensed psychologist or other appropriately credentialed individual. The Director will also teach 2 clinically-based doctoral courses in each of fall and spring semesters.
