Data Reporting Specialist
The Data Reporting Specialist is responsible for daily data entry into Curry College's Customer Relationship Management database. This position will assist in the overall database management, including creating and maintaining constituent records, performing routine data maintenance, and overseeing the gift entry and acknowledgment process. The Data Reporting Specialist position includes identifying potential prospects for further research and/or major gift assignments and preparing timely and accurate thank you receipts, acknowledgment letters, and other donor correspondence. Keen attention to detail is vital to this role.
Essential Functions:
1. Oversee all Aspects of Gift Processing:
- Enter data into the College's CRM database, donation confirmations, and donor research;
- Process donations and acknowledgment letters;
- Track pledges;
- Perform regular data hygiene and financial audits, making corrections where necessary.
2. Gift reporting:
- Assist with list-pulls, both scheduled and on-demand;
- Create, update and manage constituent records in fundraising CRM;
- Collaborate with members of the finance team.
3. Database Management:
- Conduct daily data entry with accuracy and attention to detail;
- Perform regular audits and data hygiene;
- Develop and maintain fundraising reports and dashboards.
4. Prospect Research:
- Assist with wealth screenings and other data overlays to support fundraising efforts;
- Prepare reports;
- Track donors, solicitations and outcomes;
- Support fundraising staff with data entry as needed.
Additional Functions:
- Respect and maintain confidentiality, parameters of operation, professional protocols, and individual privacy;
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor of their designee.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of computer technology, including Excel.
- 2-3 years of prior experience, ideally in fundraising.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks under time sensitive deadlines.
- Team player with ability to pivot priorities when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Fundraising CRM, preferably for a higher education organization.
- Experience with Banner or Ellucian products.
- Experience working with various research software and database tools.
Hourly Rate:
$21.00 to $24.00 per hour.
