8:30am - 5:00pm (academic year)
8:00am - 4:30pm (summer)

Job Description:
This position provides support to the Director of Budget and Administration, the Center on Disability and Inclusion, and faculty PIs by providing financial management services including grant budget monitoring, transaction approving, and preparing financial and program reports. The increased portfolio of the Center on Disability and Inclusion (including InclusiveU) along with additional grants and tuition & fee revenue streams leveraged through that program makes increasing budget analysis capacity imperative.

Responsibilities:
- Independently analyze and coordinate revenues and expenditures for Center including external grants, gifts and endowments, and tuition and fees.
- Manage day-to-day Center financial operations, processes, and procedures.
- Monitor accuracy on financial transactions for all payments and revenues.
- Resolve issues discovered during review and reconciliation of accounts.
- Provide support, including the preparation of monthly financial analysis detail and summaries, ongoing communication with Center directors regarding respective financial/budgetary operations.
- Utilizing all available financial tools, analyze, review, and forecast budget, revenue, and expenditure activity; compile financial reports by assembling and reconciling expenditure data.
- Make recommendations regarding expenditures and strategic utilization of various sources of funding including gift monies, fee revenues, endowment resources, etc.
- Coordinate with the registrar, bursar, financial aid office, and state Medicaid Waiver funding mechanisms such as disability support agencies and fiscal intermediaries on behalf of the School of Education and InclusiveU students.
- Financial reporting for sponsored activities. Download data from the Peoplesoft system to analyze, review and forecast budget, revenue, and expenditure activity; compile financial reports by assembling and reconciling expenditure data for assigned projects.
- Use well-developed analytical skills to manage and/or recommend department expenditure and reconciliation activities.
- Approve financial expenditures, including journal entries, IDs, purchase requisitions, travel vouchers, employee reimbursement expenses, and ePro orders.
- Prepare, update, and maintain budgets and long-range planning for assigned projects.
