Position Description

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Spelman College is seeking a Sociology Lecturer with a specialization in Criminology for a one semester appointment, Spring 2025.

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applicants for a lecturer position. Teaching responsibilities would include four courses, including Introduction to Criminology, Introduction to Sociology for non-majors, and a Sociology elective in the area of Criminology. This position would support the Pre-Law/Criminology concentration within the department.
